Lots Of Updates! =)

Okay, as a ton of you already know, The Clique movie trailer has been released! It was on IMDB before but, for some unknown reason, was taken down. But, the trailer can still be watched on YouTube! Check it out right here and below:

Teen Magazine's latest issue has an article about The Clique! Natalie sent in a scan of the article but, it is a little blurry. So, she was nice enough to type up the article for us! Here is the scan and below is the article:
The Clique Series by Lisi Harrison (Poppy) has gone hollywood, with the first book becoming a film available for your viewing pleasure this fall. We caught up with the cast on the Providence, Rhode Island, set and couldn't believe how much the actresses resembled Massie, Dylan, Claire, Kristen, and Alicia. If you can't wait til' then, check out The Clique Summer Collection, featuring five novellas as told by each of the main characters. How ah-dorable!

Recently, I have gotten a few rude comments about how my site is "pointless" and "stupid" because I "leave so much". I didn't publish any of the mean comments but, it really is rude how you pretty much expect me to do nothing but work on this blog. Of course, I go on this site to update it whenever I can. But, I'm not going to give up my life just so that I can work on it! Don't even bother leaving comments that are say things like that because I'm not even going to publish them. Again, it was only a few people who left comments. I'm happy to say the majority of you guys are so supportive of me =) Thanks a ton to you guys who comment, e-mail me, send in news, or tell me what you think of the site! It's really nice and so sweet =D

Oh, and finally, I have a feeling that I might have I forgotten to credit a couple of people for sending in news because there were just so many people! If you sent in news and you're name isn't posted here, feel free to leave me a comment or e-mail telling me so and I'll be sure to edit your name into this post! =)

Hey! TamZ has sent in a article about a food company, Everyday Gourmet, that made the food for the cast and crew of The Clique. It mentions The Clique in this quote:
The young restauranteurs landed a major catering job during the winter serving breakfast and lunch to the cast and crew of the movie "The Clique," which was filming in Rhode Island.

Bridgit's Blog and Lisi's Blah-g!

Hey! So sorry I didn't update yesterday but, I was busy unpacking from my trip. But, I'm only a day late, which isn't too bad. Haha. Anyways, here is some The Clique news:

Bridgit Mendler has updated her blog about working on Labor Pains, summertime, and how she had to cancel a trip to Africa with her aunt and uncle. Here's a quick quote about what Bridigt has been up to lately:
It’s finally summer! That means trips to the beach with friends, catching up on hobbies there wasn’t time for during the year, and in general just having a great time. So far I’ve had my ups and downs. I’ve had the amazing opportunity of working beside high level actors in my latest film, Labor Pains, and I’ve taken the time to finish Driver’s Ed. Hopefully I’ll have my permit next week!

Remember the auction of The Clique props from before? Well, Lauren has sent in some closeups of those pictures. The first two were sent in by her and the rest were cropped by me. Here they are:


Last Wednesday, Lisi updated her blah-g with a really cool quiz about which Clique character you are. I took the quiz and I turned out to be a Kristen. You can take the quiz yourself right here. Be sure to post what your result on the quiz in the comment section!

Ellen's MySpace Music And Leaving For A Little

Hey! I have to tell you guys that I will be away on vacation for the next week so, don't expect any updates until June 23 or 24. Feel free to comment me or e-mail me at thecliqueupdates@gmail.com but, I will not be able to get back to you until June 23/24. I'll be sure to update you guys on The Clique as soon as I get back though! Anyways, here's today's updates.

An anonymous user has sent in a link to Ellen Marlow's MySpace Music page. It is located right here and currently features a song called Movin' On. The song is really good so I suggest you go check it out =)

We also have a new affiliate! The site is called The Clique Academy and is a really nice site where you can meet with other Clique fans. Be sure to visit it!

Bridgit's New Movie and Affiliates!

Thanks to anonymous tip and IMDB, we now know what movie Bridgit Mendler mentioned in her blog! Bridgit will be in Labor Pains, a movie starring the famous Lindsay Lohan! In the movie, Bridgit will be playing a character named Emma. Here is a summary of the movie from IMDB:
A young woman to pretends to be pregnant in order to avoid being fired from her job. When that gets her a bunch of special treatment by everyone involved in her life, she tries to keep up the lie for nine months.
Sounds like an interesting movie! Here are some pictures from the set, with Bridgit Mendler! The pictures are from Lindsay Images and show Bridigt wearing green sweater in the first two pictures and a blue dress in the last four. There are more pictures from set, but I'm just going to post those on my Flickr account, since there are a lot. So, you can check out a few below and then view the rest right here. =)

Also, I have added two new affiliates. =) The first is Your Pretty Committee Advice Column At that site you can send in problems that you need advice on. Then, a member of the PC will answer you question and try to help you out. It's pretty cool so, go check it out. =)

Mrs. Marvil Cast and "Taylor The Latte Boy"!

Hey! As you might have noticed, IMDB has added another actor to The Clique. Merri-Lee Marvil, Dylan's mother, will be played by Lisa Masters. Masters has been on the TV shows Hope and Faith, Law and Order and played Carol Wainwright in The Stepford Wives. I think she will be great as Mrs. Marvil because of all her experience and I can't wait to see her in the movie! Thanks to Laurenn, nlmx8, Sam and Sara for sending this in!
