Manga Verison of The Clique and Lisi's Blah-g!

Hey everyone! In July 2010, there is going to be a manga version of The Clique published! (In case you don't know, manga is a Japanese type of cartoons.) The book will be illustrated by Yishan Li, who also illustrated "The Adventures of CG!” that used to be published in CosmoGirl every month. The idea of The Clique being illustrated in a book sounds so cool! I can't wait to read it! Read an article about it right here.

Also, Lisi has written a few blah-gs since I last posted. The first post was about how she couldn't write much because she was about to go camping. The second blah-g Lisi wrote was all about how she was going to shopping soon and everything she wanted to get. And finally, the most recent post Lisi wrote included a recording of "Global Heartwarming" by Allie J, a character from The Alphas. Check out the song right here! Bridgit Mendler on Wizards of Waverly Place, Her New Show, and Lisi's Blah-g Update!

Hey! Bridgit Mendler recently guest starred on Wizards of Waverly Place as Justin's vampire love interest, Juliet. The episode looks like it's gonna be really good so be sure to check it out! And even bigger news about Bridigt Mendler: she's getting her own show on Disney Channel!! The show is going to be called Good Luck Charlie and is about how Teddy (Jason Dolley), Casey (Bridgit Mendler), and Gabe (Bradley Perry) work together to take care of their new sister Charlotte, whose nickname is Charlie. It sounds like a cool show and I can't wait to see it! It's going to come out sometime in 2010, but for now you can read an article about it here. Congrats to Bridgit for getting this great role! New Info on "The Clique" DS Game!

Hey! There was a new article released on "Queen Teen: The Clique", the DS Game that is based on The Clique. According to the article, the players of the game will be able to customize the clothing, hairstyle, and shoes of their character as well as get a jobby to pay for the hottest clothing. To become an Alpha, gamers will get to play fun mini-games and exchange gossip. Also, the game has a feature where players can interact with people from their real-life clique! Sounds awesome :)

Teen Magazine's latest issue has an article about The Clique! Natalie sent in a scan of the article but, it is a little blurry. So, she was nice enough to type up the article for us! Here is the scan and below is the article:

We caught up with the cast on the Providence, Rhode Island, set and couldn't believe how much the actresses resembled Massie, Dylan, Claire, Kristen, and Alicia. Recently, I have gotten a few rude comments about how my site is "pointless" and "stupid" because I "leave so much". I didn't publish any of the mean comments but, it really is rude how you pretty much expect me to do nothing but work on this blog. Of course, I go on this site to update it whenever I can. But, I'm not going to give up my life just so that I can work on it! Don't even bother leaving comments that are say things like that because I'm not even going to publish them. Again, it was only a few people who left comments. I'm happy to say the majority of you guys are so supportive of me =) Thanks a ton to you guys who comment, e-mail me, send in news, or tell me what you think of the site! It's really nice and so sweet =D

Oh, and finally, I have a feeling that I might have I forgotten to credit a couple of people for sending in news because there were just so many people! Blah-g Update:The Alphas and Sophie Photo!

Hey! Lisi Harrison has updated her blah-g with news about her trip to NYC. She tells us a few funny things about the trip and then, finally, gives us some big news! There is going to be a spin-off of The Clique called The Alphas! Lisi wrote that:
It will be out next year. It’s going to star one of the girls from the Clique series (any guesses?). And it’s so fierce it will make the cattyness at OCD look like kittyness (is that a real word?).
It seems like it'll be a great series! Do you guys have any guesses about which Clique character it will star? I think it will be Skye Hamilton but, I really have no idea. Post your ideas in the comment section!

I was searching The Clique on Google News and came across an article about Stephen Guarino, who will be playing Vincent, the art teacher, in The Clique. In the article it briefly mentions The Clique by saying:
"Roles in two upcoming blockbuster films Jerry Bruckheimer's Confessions of a Shopaholic and the Tyra Banks-produced The Clique (which Guarino describes as a younger version of Mean Girls)"
"He's especially excited about The Clique in which, he says, he's the only adult playing the teacher/mentor to a bunch of 7th grade girls. "

Articles on Elizabeth, New Pictures, and A Release Date!

Kelsey has sent in an article from ZoomInfo on Elizabeth McLaughlin! It is a short interview with Elizabeth when was just 10 years old about her performing with Entertainment Revenue. "The Clique" Mentioned In The Providence Journal

The Clique movie has been mentioned in an article in The Providence Journal! In the fourth paragraph of the article, the Clique is summarized and it gives quotes from Steven Feinberg about the possibility of more Clique movies. Feinberg's older quotes hint at more Clique movies being made but, his newer quote "I don’t know" isn't so promising =/ Hopefully, though, The Clique will do well so that we can see all of the books in the series in movies! Anyways, you can read the full article here. It's pretty cool even though they got Lisi's name wrong and called her Isis Harrison.

Star To Appear In The Clique Movie!

Okay, so while I was surfing the web today I came across an article on the Clique movie. It was written at the end of January but it has some really great news. In the beginning of the article it sums up things we already know about the movie but at the end it says that in the Clique movie there will be a recognizable star! The article does not reveal who the star is but I think I know what character they may portray. When I looked back at this post I made earlier I noticed that for some characters it says that "recognizable names are welcome" on three roles. So, the "star" will most likely be playing the role of Issac, William Block, or Nurse Adele. Anyway, in the article it also states that if The Clique movie is a success that they will make movies of the other books in the Clique series. Hopefully, the movie will do well so we can see the sequels of it! =D
