The Clique Audio Books!

Lisi Harrison updated her blah-g this week about reading on the beach. She suggested instead of attempting to read on the beach, which is usually uncomfortable and results in an uneven tan, that we try listening to books on our iPod or mp3 player! She posted the links to samples of audio books to several of The Clique books that are available for download on iTunes and Audible.com. She also said that she's gonna post a sample of "Boys R Us" next week! I think it's a really cool idea to try listening to books. Maybe I'll try it out next time I head to the beach :) Anyways, here are the samples of the audio books that Lisi posted.

"The Clique: Teen Queen" DS Game!

The Clique novel is being turned into a new DS game called The Clique: Teen Queen. In this game, you arrive at OCD as a new student. The goal of the game is to make new friends, become popular, and join the Pretty Committee. By playing mini-games, you can earn money to buy all the hotest clothing and accessories. You will also be able to interact with Massie, Dylan, Kristen, and Alicia in different challenges and situations. You'll have to wait until the fall to own the game, but for now you can check out some pictures from the game and an article about it!

Ellen on Cory in the House and New Picture of Samantha!

Hey, last night I was flipping through TV channels and was surprised to see Ellen Marlow on Cory in the House! The episode she was in was "Uninvited Pest" where she played an Up With Goodness singer performing at the White House =) I'm positive it was her because on her site she posted pictures of her and Kyle Massey while she was in her costume. Anyways, since I wasn't expecting Ellen to be on Cory In The House, I obviously did not record it. But, if I find a video of it online, I'll be sure to post it here so you guys can check it out =D

Lisi Harrison Blah-g Updates!

Lisi Harrison has posted another Blah-g update with "Random Acts of Gossip". In the post, Lisi quickly talks about MASSIE, her last post, jointheclique.com, and book signings in CA. Then, Lisi answers 10 questions sent in by Jubliee. The questions are a little odd, like "When you pass (which is like, a long time away since your like, 18) who will you let carry on the Clique series?" but it's still fun to see Lisi's responses =) Her response to that last question was "OKAY, THIS QUESTION CRACKED ME UP. I AM HOPING TO AVOID “PASSING” FOR AT LEAST 60 YEARS. IF YOU GUYS ARE STILL INTO THE CLIQUE BY THEN I WILL MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN MY WILL FOR SOMEONE TO TAKE OVER. PINKY SWEAR." After that update, Lisi put up another short post. In the post, she announces the MASSIE has topped Bratfest on the bestseller list. =D She also corrects a mistake that she made in the last post .To read that post go here.

New Photo of Sophie and Sites with Brigit

Sophie has updated her main MySpace photo again with a picture of her on a bike in France. In the background you can see the Eiffel Tower, which is pretty awesome. Here is that picture:

Recently, I've had three sites about Clique stars sent in. The sites about Bridgit are TheAliceMovie.com and AlysonStoner.com. On each of these sites there are photos of Bridgit from Alice Upside Down. On The Alice Movie website there are also videos and quotes from Bridgit. Another website is about Samantha's music group, My Allowance. The site is "My Allowance Fans" and is on bebo. It has some photos and videos of Samantha on it. So, be sure to check each of those sites out!

Also, Lisi Harrison has posted the NY Times Bestseller List on her site. On the list, Bratfest At Tiffany's and MASSIE are in the two top positions. This really shows that the Clique is very popular! =D Anyways, to look at the list go here and click on the first article.

MASSIE-Summer Series Is Out!

As you already know, MASSIE, in the Summer Series just came out in stores yesterday. I got my copy on April 1 and finished reading it today. For all of you who haven't gotten it yet, I just have to say that it is really good. I couldn't put it down! =) At the end of the book, there are summaries of the other books in the Clique Summer Series. There's also a preview of DYLAN-Summer Series. I really like the beginning of Dylan and I can't wait to read the rest of it. You can pre-order Dylan on Amazon by clicking on the link below. That way you won't have to worry about rushing to the bookstore on May 6th.

Anyways, get your hands on MASSIE as soon as possible and read it all! You will not be disappointed! =D

Summer Series Blah-g Update!

Today, Lisi updated her Blah-g about the Summer Series. This isn't the "offical" update of the week but, she did write a paragraph updating everyone about a few things. About the seven questions, she wrote that "Some of your guesses are pretty darn good. But no one is even close on the purple streak thing." I guess we'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out what it really means :) Lisi also posted that her photo on the back of Massie is going to be the same as always because she missed the deadline to send in her picture. So, we will have to wait until Dylan to find out what photo was actually chosen. Also, she informs us that she has finished writing Kristen in the Summer Series and is moving onto writing Claire. The post is short, but fun to read so go check it out here. =D

Lisi Updates Blah-g About Massie-Summer Series!

Lisi Harrison has made her weekly Blah-g update today! In this post, Lisi reminds us all that Massie, the first novel in the Summer Series, will come out on April 1st. She also gives seven questions about this story that will be answered when we read Massie-Summer Series. The questions include "What is the worst punishment her parents could possibly give her? ", "What is a purple hair streak and why does Massie want one so badly?" and many more. Also, at the bottom, Lisi posts two possible photos for the back of her book. 11 Days Until Summer Series-Massie!

I just wanted to remind everyone that MASSIE, the first book in the Clique Summer Series, is coming out very soon. It will be released on April 1, which is in just 11 days! Lisi's Weekly Blah-g Update: Sneak Preview of "Massie" in the Summer Collection

Lisi Harrison has once again updated her blah-g. In this post, Lisi gives out great tips out on writing. She wrote "Never use cliches...They’re lazy and unimaginative and have zero impact on the reader." Lisi tells us that it makes it much more interesting to make your own cliches. For an example, Lisi writes "Blog can become Blah-g. Wafer-thin can become Visa-thin." Also, Lisi includes the manuscript of a page of "Massie" in the Clique Summer Collection. Here it is:

A Closer Look at Massie's Mannequin!

When I was posting the photo of Massie's mannequin I noticed something that I just had to share with you guys! You may have noticed three pictures of "Massie" in the background. I zoomed in on the picture and got these photos at their regular size. When they are this big, you totally tell that they are really Elizabeth, the girl who plays Massie. They probably asked Elizabeth for photos of her and picked out the "Massie-est" ones. It isn't a huge news story but I thought it was really cool to see small details like this! Massie Block-Elizabeth McLauglin

Elizabeth McLauglin has been cast as Massie Block in the Clique movie. On Ugly Betty, Elizabeth plays Lindsay, the viscous leader of a clique. Which is a great coincidence as she will portraying an alpha again in the Clique movie! Elizabeth doesn't have an offical website but she does have an IMDB page (here).I can't tell quite yet but I think that Elizabeth will make a great Massie. Right now, there is only a few pictures of Elizabeth available but when more are found I'll be sure to post them. Those pictures are below:
